Mount Calvary Baptist Church recently held its annual Men's Conference. The title of this year's meeting was Finding Faithful Men. The speaker was Jamie Collins, pastor of Waycross Baptist Church of Pelzer, SC. The Friday night session began with a meal which included a barbecued hog and then moved to a time of instruction. Saturday morning, the men returned for a hot breakfast and the conclusion of the study. Men of all ages attended. Teens as well as senior adults learned about the Biblical model for manhood. Applications were given showing how to live out the life God has called each man to live. This free conference is an ongoing ministry of Mount Calvary Baptist Church. The desire and mission of Mount Calvary is to help all people to come to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and then to assist them in becoming mature Christians.
