Will South Carolina ghosts come out this Halloween? They will on ETV, when Carolina Stories presents Ghosts and Other Legends (Thursday, Oct. 30 at 9 p.m.). The program uncovers the legend and lore of local spirits, from the Old Exchange Dungeon in Charleston, to the Lands End ghost that walks the Carolina coast; from the Abbeville Opera House ghost, to the legend of Edgefield's black widow, Becky Cotton, and even the infamous Lizard Man of Scape Ore Swamp .

Then, at 10 p.m., Southern Lens presents Southern Haunts: Ghosts of the Lowcountry, which visits Charleston and Savannah to uncover eerie history and folklore. Viewers learn about serial killer Lavinia Fisher, who still roams Charleston’s Old City Jail, and visit the creepy Pirate’s House in Savannah , where it is said that many ghosts still gather.
