Tonight, Sunday, September 13th at 6:00 p.m., join the State Department of Education for a LIVE discussion on ETV about twenty-first century schools! This special presentation will focus on what the public and private sector are doing in partnership to look to the future in terms of what schools should be like in the twenty-first century.

How can we incorporate the comprehensive needs of each student while also focusing on changing technologies, teaching strategies, curriculum, and more? How can our schools become energy efficient? How do we encourage active community participation within each school? In short…how do we move our schools into the twenty-first century?

Join Amanda Burnett, former Principal at J.V. Martin Junior High School; Darryl Rosser, CEO of Sagus International in Chicago; Steve Turckes, Architect with Perkins and Will in Chicago; David Houle, Author and Futurist; Diane Sumpter, CEO, DESA International; Ray Rogers, Superintendent of Dillon County School District Two; and Dr. Oscar Lovelace, a Newberry Physician, as we discuss the campus of the future.

In Our Schools is designed for parents, educators and community partners and focuses on positive educational initiatives in our South Carolina public schools. Please plan to access these programs for your school administrators, teachers, parents, and entire school community.
