On Tuesday, December 1, Mount Calvary Baptist Church celebrated its annual Senior Adult Christmas Banquet. Seniors were honored with a delicious meal and gifts. A message was delivered from Isaiah 9:6-7 which uses four names to describe the greatest gift God has ever given. The promised Messiah was to be the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Father of Eternity, Prince of Peace. Isaiah also called his name Immanuel, which means "God with Us." One name can be used to capture the essence of all the rest and that name is Jesus. When God gave, He gave his best.
